The Good: Good basic coverage at a good price; “cancel for any reason” upgrade is available.

The Drawbacks: No option for pre-existing condition waiver or financial default coverage; no concierge services.

The Bottom Line: Travel Insurance Services has been in the business since 1973, and is a pioneer in travel insurance. Their Select plans (Basic, Plus, and Elite) all provide excellent coverage at different levels; you just need to choose the plan that matches your traveling needs..
