Package Plan Policies

Designed for: Travelers going on a single trip

Package policies are very popular because they provide a wide variety of benefits under a single policy. Package policies are perfect for cruises, tours, vacations, and more.

Most package policies offer Trip Cancellation, Baggage, Medical, Dental, Emergency Evacuation, 24 Hour Assistance, Baggage Delay, Travel Delay, and Accidental Death Coverages. Some policies also have options for Collision/Damage coverage for rented cars, Flight Insurance (a form of Accidental Death Coverage while flying only) and additional Emergency Evacuation insurance. Travel Medical Policies

Designed for: Travelers needing medical coverage abroad for up to a year

Most travelers do not know if their health insurance covers them in another country or continent? Some  health coverage only offer partial coverage that could leave you responsible for medical expenses. Most travelers also need coverage that will provide transportation home, or at least to an adequate medical facility.

International travel medical insurance policies provide medical coverage for travel up to a year in length; and many are renewable annually for up to 3 years. Multi-Trip Medical Policies (Annual)

Designed for: Frequent travelers

Annual travel insurance for multiple trips provides medical coverage for multiple trips throughout the year. All annual multi trip travel insurance policies have trip length restrictions of either 15, 30 or 70 days. This means that any given trip must not be longer than 15, 30 or 70 days.

Travel Major Medical Policies

Designed for: Travelers going abroad for at least 6 months requiring permanent-style insurance

These plans provide the type of comprehensive medical protection you have at home, including emergency medical treatment, wellness care and optional prescription drug coverage. These policies are intended for long-term, living abroad situations.

Like many major medical policies, these plans can contain both in and out of network coverage, deductibles and co-payments and have the additional travel benefits such as emergency medical evacuation protection.

Medical Evacuation Policies

Designed for: Travelers seeking medical transportation coverage only (no medical treatment, trip cancellation, etc.)

Medical evacuation policies provide coverage for travelers in the event they become seriously ill or injured while traveling, and require emergency medical evacuation to the nearest appropriate care facility or on some plans, to your hospital of choice. Most medical evacuation coverage includes benefits for repatriation of mortal remains.

Student Policies

Designed for: US students going abroad or foreign students visiting the US

Many students and other educational professionals travel internationally each year. To protect against unforeseen events that could result in long-term financial hardship, student policies provide medical emergency, evacuation coverage, and other benefits.

Medical Tourism Policies

Designed for: Travelers going abroad for medical treatment (medical tourism)

Medical tourism is the practice of traveling abroad to receive lower cost medical care, often in relaxing countries known for their tourism. This type of policy does not cover the intended procedure, but is designed for other complications and risks associated with the trip. It also covers for trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and unrelated medical needs. This is a very new product to market, currently only offered by Seven Corners.

Rental Car Policies

Designed for: Travelers renting a car

Many travelers who rent a car rely on personal auto insurance to cover the rental car, or pay the high price at the rental counter for the offered insurance. Rental Car policies provide an alternative for primary collision/loss damage to rental cars.

Flight Accident Policies

These air travel insurance policies are for travelers on a single trip, and provide coverage for flight accident insurance (a form of accidental death coverage while flying).
