Plan Details
This plan is unique in that it provides the following:
- Plan certificate period is for 12 months and covers all trips outside your home country of 30 days or less during that period.
- Home country coverage is available for up to 15 days per every 3 months of coverage purchased.
- Evacuations include political evacuations (up to $10,000) as well as emergency medical evacuations, plus return of minor children and emergency reunion with a relative.
- In addition to flight AD&D, this plan provides 24-hour AD&D up to $25,000.
- Replacement accommodations up to $100 per day in the event you are displaced from pre-paid accommodations at your destination as a result of a natural disaster.
- Plan includes trip interruption coverage to reimburse you for the cost of return airfare when you have to return home for a covered reason.
- Plan includes lost baggage coverage up to $250 and lost luggage tracking assistance.
- Travel assistance services are included for embassy referrals, legal referrals, and translation services.
- Hospital indemnity up to $100 per day.
- Coverage for your spouse (up to 66 years) and children (up to 18 years) is available provided they each maintain medical insurance within their home country as well.

- Optional terrorism rider for additional medical coverage (limits apply).
Limitations
The following are the limitations on this plan’s coverage:
- Claims incurred inside the U.S. or Canada are subject to coinsurance and paid at 80% to the next $5,000 after the deductible, then at 100% to the overall plan maximum.
- Terrorism covered up to $50,000 lifetime maximum – medical expenses only. (Consider the optional rider for higher limits.)
- Plan deductible is $250 per person per trip.
- Coverage for pre-existing medical conditions is limited to $5,000 for medical and $25,000 for evacuation.
