Let us tell you a story

Monika had long planned to travel to see her aunt in Italy. When she purchased her airline tickets, she bought travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage, and she was glad she did. Just a week before she was due to fly, a neighbor called to inform her that her aunt was in the hospital and very ill with the flu. She would not be able to host Monika and it was recommended she stay away in order not to become ill herself.

Monika obtained a copy of her aunt’s medical report and sent that with her trip cancellation claim. She was able to recover all her pre-paid trip costs, which she saved so that she could reschedule her trip as soon as her aunt was better.
