Global Alert Travel Insurance
Editor ReviewThe Good: Financial default coverage available (see details); Preferred and Preferred Plus have $100,000 emergency medical coverage; Coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. The Drawbacks: Cancel for any reason coverage on Preferred and preferred Plus is only 75% of the trip cost; Emergency medical om Essentials is only $25,000; Global Alert website is not easy to use, not buyer friendly. The Bottom Line: Global Alert offers a good variety of plans, ranging from the basic coverage to comprehensive coverage. Their Essentials plan is budget minded, and is usually one of the cheaper plans you can find. Where to Buy Global Alert Travel Insurance:1. Compare Quotes from all companies- If you are still undecided but would like to start with some quotes, the best way is to use a comparison website (similar to using Expedia or Travelocity for airline tickets). There are several, but we recommend a comparison site called Squaremouth.com to get instant quotes and purchase online. Squaremouth.com only works with reputable companies, and you can get instant quotes and purchase instantly online with a credit card. |

Has anyone had a bad experience with this company? I don’t see any complaints filed unlike all others. I’m guess that is a good thing?
