Plan Details
This plan is unique in that it provides the following:
- Benefit can cover trips up to one year long – ideal for extended stays abroad.
- Covered reasons for trip cancellations and interruptions are broad and include inclement weather, traffic accidents, terrorist acts (within 7 days of departure), mandatory evacuations and more.
- This plan includes $25 additional expense reimbursement for expediting the return of delayed luggage.
- The medical and evacuation limits are comfortable and should cover what a traveler needs.
- Emergency assistance services include medical referrals, emergency cash transfers, worldwide medical information, vehicle and pet return, and more.
Limitations
The following are the limitations on this plan’s coverage:
- The baggage delay time frame is relatively long (24 hours) as is the travel delay time frame (12 hours)
- Must have at least 10 travelers in your group.
- No coverage for pre-existing medical conditions.
- No AD&D coverage, ‘cancel for any reason’, or ‘cancel for work reasons’ is available.
- No car rental coverage is available.
- Must be a resident of the U.S. or Canada.
