The Good: Offered in four different levels, this plan is designed for the business person who travels frequently. It provides basic emergency medical and dental coverage, emergency medical transportation, travel accident coverage and a few package-like travel insurance benefits to ease common travel inconveniences.

The Drawbacks: None of the plan levels include flight accident AD&D or optional coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. Some very useful protections are only in the Executive level.

The Bottom Line: Offered in four levels, with varying coverage limits, most business travelers can find a plan to fit their needs.The insured traveler should be healthy because none of the plans offer high medical coverage or any coverage for pre-existing medical conditions.

Plan Details

This plan is unique in that it provides the following:

Executive level includes a number of package-like benefits, including trip cancellation, interruption, baggage loss and delay, and flight change fees.
Vehicle return in case you are sick or injured covered in the Road Warrior and Essential levels.
Travel delays are covered in all plan levels: up to $500 in Essential, and $1,500 in the remaining levels.
Reimbursement or repair of essential business equipment, and rental fees for necessary business equipment like audio/visual, is covered in all plans: up to $500 in Essential, and up to $1,000 in the remaining levels.
Emergency assistance services include business concierge and concierge services (Executive plan only).

Limitations

The following are the limitations on this plan’s coverage:

Emergency medical is not included in the Essential level and it’s relatively low in all the other levels when compared to other plans.
No flight accident AD&D or coverage for pre-existing conditions.
The maximum trip cost for trip cancellation is limited to $5,000.
