Disneyland

Disneyland was the first theme park created by Walt Disney. It was opened in 1955 in Anaheim, CA. It consists of five different themed areas that you can visit. In the 1990s they began to build additional hotels and added Downtown Disney and Disney’s California Adventure Park to turn it more into a resort.

Disney World

Disney World first opened in 1971 with the Magic Kingdom park. It later added three more theme parks: Epcot Center, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. It also has two water parks that you can visit. The Walt Disney World resort also has twenty- three hotels to visit. IT is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world and is located in Orlando, Florida.

Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disney was opened in 1983 just outside of Tokyo, Japan. This park is not owned by Disney, but operates under a license granted by them. You can also visit Disney Sea, which is owned by the Oriental Land Company, the same group that owns Tokyo Disney

Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris was opened in 1992. It is located just outside of Paris, France. It currently has two theme parks that you can visit as well as several hotels to stay at. The first theme park is Disneyland Paris and the second is Walt Disney Studios Park, which opened in 2002. Although the park initially struggled when it first opened, it is now doing very well and is one of the most popular attractions in Europe.

Hong King Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland opened in May 2005. It offers four different lands that you can visit. It plans on adding two more lands in the future. This is the smallest of the five Disney parks and the attendance is the lowest out of all of them. It offers many of the same rides as the other parks.
