Annual travel insurance policies are perfect for frequent travelers

Some travelers find themselves away from home on a frequent basis. Instead of buying travel insurance for each trip, these travelers can buy an annual travel insurance policy to provide international medical insurance.

Travel medical insurance for multiple trips provides annual medical coverage for multiple trips throughout the year.

All annual multi trip travel insurance policies have trip length restrictions of either 15, 30 or 70 days, depending on the company and plan. This represents longest period any single trip may be.
Some annual multi trip travel insurance policies include coverage for evacuation, flight, accidental death, limited baggage, and trip interruption. Buying multi-trip insurance will save you thousands of dollars a year in insurance costs.

These policies are travel medical insurance coverage, not “package” plans (trip cancellation). Companies offering annual multi-trip insurance include:

  • HTH Worldwide
  • International Medical Group
  • FrontierMEDEX
  • MultiNational Underwriters

Compare Travel Insurance Plans & Prices

The easiest way to compare plans is to use a comparison tool. It works the same as Expedia when you buy plane tickets.

You enter a few trip details and get prices from all companies at the same time. Then, you can narrow down your choices and make the right selection

All annual multi trip travel insurance policies have trip length restrictions of either 15, 30 or 70 days, depending on the company and plan. This represents the total number of days spent outside the US.

I think you’ve misunderstood this… certainly with our travel insurance the trip length restrictions only count for any single trip that you make taking out a 31 day annual policy means you can take as many trips for up to 31 days as you can fit into the year. Things may be different in the US of course…

There was a misunderstanding regarding the policy here. The post was updated and thanks for taking part!
